You're the opposite of a sloppy writer. You’ve got a nose for sharp copy, and you get a buzz from finding culturally relevant, scroll-stopping ways to tell a story.

You thrive in a team setting - but are independent - and are looking for an internship where you can sharpen your writing skills, flex your brain, and work with a mission-driven brand.

As part of Dopper’s editorial team, you’ll help us spot, plan, and create content that gets people talking - without sounding like a boomer. You’ll contribute to everything from social posts to campaigns that push culture and sustainability forward.

Don’t worry, you’re not on your own. Louis, your internship supervisor, will be right there with you! 

Mission objectives

• Keep the editorial calendar up to date together with the Editorial Lead: gather input and plan content.

• Support the editorial team with content creation, curation, and coordination across the company’s owned channels. Making sure we’re telling the right stories in our tone of voice.

• Collaborate with the brand and social media team – including the Intern Social Media & Content and Intern Influencer Marketing – to create impactful content that inspires and grows our community.

• Monitor the news and social media platforms for potential story angles to amplify our mission.

• Help with reactive and proactive online community management, including answering critical questions.

• Write and edit blog posts, social posts and newsletters on topics related to Dopper’s Editorial Pillars

• Contribute to the fact-checking process of content to ensure its accuracy and credibility.

This is you, right?
 

• You are studying journalism, political science, media & communications or a related field.

• You are currently enrolled in a European school and living in the Netherlands at the time of the internship.

• You have strong writing and editing skills, and are keen to improve them further.

• You know your way around social media platforms. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

• You are available 5 days a week, for a minimum of 5 months: starting 1st of September 2025.

• You speak and write fluently in English (Dutch and/or French are a bonus).
